Reunion groups visiting in 2026 should confirm their specific rentals' rebuild status, but the destination is broadly open for business. The Gulf beach itself — wide white sand, calm warm water — was unchanged by the hurricane.

Lovers Key State Park is the underrated local gem. Pack a picnic, kayak through the back channels in the morning, and shell the Gulf beach in the afternoon — a full day without leaving the park.
