Quick Answer

Can I Export My Family Reunion Data from Reunly?

Yes — Reunly is GDPR-compliant and lets you export your guest list, budget, schedule, and tasks as spreadsheet (CSV) or Word docs anytime, at no extra cost.

TL;DR — Your Data, Your Rules

  • Export guest list, RSVPs, budget, schedule, and tasks anytime.
  • CSV for spreadsheets. Word (.docx) for agendas and meeting docs.
  • Free on every plan — including the 14-day trial.
  • You own your data. We never sell or share it.
  • Delete your account anytime — 30-day soft delete with restore.

What You Can Export

Guest list (CSV)

Name, maiden name, email, phone, family branch, RSVP status, plus-ones, dietary restrictions, notes. Opens in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers.

Budget (CSV)

Line items, estimated cost, actual cost, paid status, vendor name, category. Use to share with a treasurer or import into accounting.

Schedule (Word)

Day-of agenda formatted to print. Time slots, activities, leader name, location. Great for committee meeting handouts.

Task list (CSV or Word)

All planning tasks with assignee, due date, status, and notes. CSV for sorting, Word for committee meetings.

Meeting agenda (Word)

Auto-generated agenda from your latest planning meeting notes, formatted to print.

Public reunion hub (PDF)

Print a polished PDF of your hub for relatives who don't use the link — schedule, RSVPs, contact info, what to bring.

How to Export

Every section of Reunly has an Export button in the upper right. Click it, pick CSV or Word, and the file downloads to your computer in seconds. You can also export everything at once from Settings → Export My Data, which bundles a ZIP file with one CSV per section.

If you're collaborating with a committee, exports are useful for sharing static snapshots — for example, emailing the budget spreadsheet to a relative who refuses to log in. But for everyone actively planning, sharing the live Reunly link is faster and avoids the "whose copy is right?" problem.

Data Ownership & Account Deletion

The data you put into Reunly belongs to you. We use it to make the product work — render your guest list, send RSVP confirmations, calculate per-person costs — but we don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or train AI models on it.

If you want out, account deletion is one click in Settings. We use a 30-day soft-delete: your data is hidden immediately but recoverable if you log back in within 30 days (this protects against accidental deletion and angry-spouse scenarios). After 30 days, your data is permanently removed from production databases. Backups roll off within 90 days.

This matters because the data in your reunion plan is sensitive: relatives' addresses, phone numbers, dietary restrictions, sometimes medical notes. Reunly treats it like the family information it is. See also: How Does Reunly Work? and What Does Reunly Cost?
