Custom printed banners from event supply companies typically cost $40–$120 and require ordering in advance. A printable banner template costs nothing, can be produced in minutes, and — when the children color the panels — becomes something genuinely personal. Guests don't walk past a generic vinyl banner the same way they walk past one with crayon colors from the grandchildren.
The six-panel design covers the essential message: "Welcome [Family Name] Family Reunion 2026." Each panel prints on a standard sheet of paper. The decorative star and flower borders are designed to be colored in — sage green, warm gold, or whatever colors your family chooses. The two small circles at the top of each panel are the hanging holes; fold the panel top over twine and tape from behind, or use a hole punch and thread the twine through.
Reunly manages your guest list — so you can include guest names in your photo station banner and greet each family branch by name as they arrive.
Print each panel on standard 8.5x11 letter paper. Optionally have children color the panels for a handmade touch. Fold the top inch of each panel over a length of twine and tape or staple it down. Space panels evenly and hang the twine between two poles, trees, or wall hooks. The full banner reads 'Welcome [Family Name] Family Reunion 2026'.
Six letter-size panels side by side span about 5 feet. For a longer banner, print duplicate panels (extra letters or decorative spacers) and add them to the line. Most reunion venue walls or outdoor fences can accommodate a 6–8 foot banner comfortably.
That's exactly the point. Coloring the banner panels is a great pre-reunion activity for children. Print them a few days before the event, let the kids color them at home, and assemble the completed banner the morning of the reunion. The children are especially proud to see their artwork displayed.
